Nyanko Inoue (JRPG)
After being banished from the Fujiwaras house, Nyanko snuck up on some of the lower-class youkai who were gossiping about him and surprised them. He then started listing off all of their supposed faults.
Tin Nyanko later fought with the Sailor Star Fighters in Act 54. She used bracelets that could remove someone’s Star Seed and a cat paw gun.
Character Information
Nyanko is a reoccurring civilian character who can be seen around Metro City with her father. She is very friendly and loves strawberries and sweets. Nyanko often wears trendy casual clothing when she goes out in the city.
She also has cat ears in her hair and a red bow headband. She is a bit of a worrywart and tends to cry over the slightest thing.
In her Animamate form, she wore bracelets that could remove a person’s Star Seed and a cat-paw gun that fired blasts of energy. She and the other Animamates were sent to Earth by Galaxia to find and destroy the Sailor Senshi there.
In the Smash 4 community, Nyanko mains Donkey Kong and Cloud. She is a top ranked JP player, notably beating top players like Abadango and Kameme in the past.
Voice Actors
Inoue has a wide vocal range and is known for his voice work on different personality types such as hot-blooded, righteous main characters like Joe Shimamura in Cyborg 009 and Akira Kogane in Golion; coolly arrogant bishonen such as Jerrid Messa in Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam and Kars in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure; and amusingly fussy yet powerful mazoku such as Guenter in Kyo Kara Maoh!
He often sings in anime character albums and at voice acting events. He has long held a strong desire for world peace and expresses similar thoughts on his blog, Kazufan Blog.
He is also a veteran voice actor having done many video games and anime series such as Sunni in the Gummi Bears and Rowlf in Muppet Babies. He has also starred in a number of recent TV and film projects.
Character Appearances
Despite often being used as comic relief, there’s some depth to Nyanko-sensei’s character. His clumsiness and drunken antics serve as a bridge that connects Natsume to these creatures that he has seen all his life but never understood.
Madara, or Nyanko-sensei, is a powerful beastly youkai who normally takes the form of a maneki-neko but agrees to act as Natsume’s bodyguard on the condition that he will inherit the Book of Friends upon the latter’s death. He’s a bit of an oddity as a youkai because he acts so much like a human – loud and obnoxious, petty and bickering, and of course, he loves to drink.
He is also one of the few youkai who enjoys singing and even does so to the chagrin of the midlevel youkai. In fact, they’re so annoyed with him that they turn blue with shock when they discover he was singing to them.
Story
After a long day of school, she returns home to her three cats, Maa, Shi, and Ro, who are ready to greet her with affection. Her cute cats are a constant source of happiness in her otherwise mundane life.
Nyanko, also known as Madara-sensei or Master Kitty Cat, is a high-level flying white wolf t youkai who commonly takes the form of a maneki-neko. He acts as Natsume’s bodyguard on the condition that he inherits the Book of Friends, which gives him control over dozens of other youkai and ayakashi.
He is selfish and prideful, but he has a more caring side that he tries to hide from the other youkai. He is also a big eater and loves to drink himself silly, frequently returning home intoxicated. He does not understand the struggle to earn money, so he borrows it from other people to fund his lavish lifestyle. This makes him less sympathetic to the midlevel youkai who resent him.
